The following criteria apply to these special fares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>They are fully refundable, even if the Customer no-shows their flight.<\/li><li>They have no penalties for changing, cancelling or refunding.<\/li><li>They have last seat availability.<\/li><li>The fare basis codes will contain CA, DG, OR MZ.<\/li><li>They can be placed on hold without payment per the ticketing time limits section below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Acceptable forms of payment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Payment for government fare tickets can only be made with a credit card issued for U.S. official government travel or a government travel request (GTR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are acceptable government credit card prefixes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>MasterCard: 5568-0,1,2,3,4<\/li><li>MasterCard: 5565-0,1,2,3,4<\/li><li>Visa: 4486-0,1,2,3,4<\/li><li>Visa: 4614-0,1,2,3,4<\/li><li>Visa: 4857-38<\/li><li>Visa: 4922-79<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>DG (OAL) Government fare filing information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>JetBlue is allowed to match government fares filed by other airlines in all markets where we are not awarded the General&nbsp;Services Administration&nbsp;contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel Agents can expect the following with respect to DG fares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The matching fares will have the exact same rules as the fares reserved for the awarded carrier.<\/li><li>The fare basis code will have DG as opposed to CA.<\/li><li>DG fares are at the discretion of JetBlue and are not available in all non-awarded markets.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions about Government fares, contact the Government Support Desk at (888) 538- 2583 option 3. The Government Support Desk is available Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM (MT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Ticketing time limits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order for our systems to accurately identify an eligible government reservation and apply the appropriate ticketing time limit, JetBlue requires an OSI indicating when a PNR is for travel on these types of fares. At least one of the following combinations must be present in an OSI, otherwise our system will process the PNR as a normal booking subject to our standard ticketing time limit policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-regular\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>MIL\/GOV<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>GOV\/MIL<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>FED\/GOV<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>MIL PNR<\/td><td>GOV PNR<\/td><td>FED PNR<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>MIL FARE<\/td><td>GOV FARE<\/td><td>FED FARE<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>MIL GOV FARE<\/td><td>GOV MIL FARE<\/td><td>FED GOV FARE<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>MIL YCA FARE<\/td><td>GOV YCA FARE<\/td><td>FED YCA FARE<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: OSI B6 MIL GOV FARE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective October 1, 2012 the ticketing time limits for government fares changed and JetBlue requires all agencies to adhere to the new policy outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Segments booked more than 72 hours in advance of departure must be ticketed no later than 48 hours prior to departure time.<\/li><li>Segments booked less than 72 hours from departure must be ticketed no later than 6 hours prior to departure time.<\/li><li>Segments booked less than 6 hours from departure must be ticketed instantly (i.e. price quote is only valid for 30 minutes in the GDS and then it will expire).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Military Leisure Travel (MIL fares)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you have a customer who is an active member of the military and their immediate family (spouses or children), please&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jetblue.com\/travel-agents\/contact-info\">contact JetBlue<\/a>\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The MIL fares are&nbsp;<strong>nonrefundable<\/strong>&nbsp;and contain the same rules on change fees\/cancel fees as our normal, public nonrefundable fares. All fares, refundable and nonrefundable, are available for MIL discount.<\/li><li>MIL Fare has no advanced purchase requirement.<\/li><li>The fare will always contain MIL01 in the resulting fare basis code.<\/li><li>Military Fare will provide a 5% discount on the base fare.<\/li><li>MIL fares will&nbsp;<strong>NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;have last seat availability. Currently the fares are tied to availability in a single JetBlue fare class (M, R or V class).
